High Temperature Soundproofing Curtains SCC-12HT & SCC-13HT
Steel Guard Safety's Model SCC-12HT & SCC-13HT Exterior Absorber Sound Blanket is used in high heat applications to reduce reverberation, echo, and to block sound from passing through. Most commonly used in Machine Enclosures they have a temperature rating up to 450 degrees F. The SCC-12HT & SCC-13HT High Temp Soundproofing Curtains are quilted fiberglass absorbers (QFA) Quilted on front with tear resistant exterior grade vinyl with a Silicone Coating for waterproofing, and the back contains a reinforce mass loaded vinyl (mlv) for blocking sound. The Sound Curtains interior contains a quilted polyester fiberglass batting sewn with heavy duty Nylon Thread on the perimeter.
The SCC-12EXT & SCC-13EXT be installed on any solid surface, or can hang on Track, Posts, Beams, or Walls. The Velcro attachments on the sides make the sound panels modular to any length. The quilted fiberglass sound curtain reduces the reflection of sound waves while the MLV blocks waves from passing through. These Sound Panels are often used to reduce sound from High Temperature Machinery Housings, Dust collectors, or other equipment with High Temperatures.
